The Precious Furs Pet Resort (formerly the Hospice Kennel) opened it's doors under new ownership on January 4, 2006.
Although the business has only been operational for a few years, new owner S. Lynn Boucher brings with her over 35
years of experience in professional pet grooming, boarding, training, and animal behavior. Lynn is a Nationally Certified
Master Groomer who actually got her start at this same kennel over 30 years ago as a "kennel kid" for professional
handler Bill Trainor. At that time it was a kennel for show dogs.
Lynn takes great pride in all her work, both with the animals and with the Pet Resort itself. She is a board member in good
standing with the New England Pet Grooming Professionals (NEPGP) and member of the National Dog Groomers
Association of America (NDGAA). During her years of participation in competitive grooming, Lynn won numerous awards,
including many first place trophies, a top scissoring award, and the NEPGP award for Best All Around Groomer. Since
retiring from the competition ring, Lynn has shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at grooming seminars, and she is
known far and wide for her ability in dealing with cats.
Lynn is backed up by an amazing support staff.
